All About Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman is a classic Superhero who was created back during the time of World War II by a man called William Moulton Marston. She was originally created by him as an alternative to what he saw DC Comics were doing, at the time their comic range was dominated purely by male characters such as Batman and Superman.

Wonder Woman made her first appearance in the Comic book world within All Start Comics Issue 8, she then went onto a appear in Sensation Comics issue 1. Some time after that Wonder Woman started to appear in her own range of comic books which came to the shelves.

Wonder Woman was born as the daughter of Queen Hippolyta on an Island known as Paradise Island. She was created with the powers of the gods as a response to all of the female souls who were killed by male violence. Her powers are drawn from the gods on Olympus who also gave her life. She has the ability to fly like Superman and life large amounts of weight exceeding 100’s of tunns with no effort at all. Her weapons include the Lansinar Disc, Bracelets of Victory, Boomerang Tiara, Lasso of Truth, Sandals of Hermes and the Gauntlet of Atlas.
